- CTD and simultaneous YSI cast to 35 meters,
- Enter YSI data to Spread Sheet.
- Download Data to PC.
- Plot data in Sea Soft.
- Print Plots, Review Profiles.
Center:
- 15 Minute Introduction to Puget Sound Marine Environment: Sills, Nutrient Input, Mixing, Currents, Tides, Light, Plankton.
- Plankton Net Tows: Vertical on Station, Horizontal as Leaving.
- Niskin Bottle Demo: Capture 1 liter in graduated cylinder, record temp and approximate depth.
Bridge:
- Achieve station lat/lon on bridge, mark conditions: current, sea, wind.
- Plot station on chart (beg. and end).
- Return to Bridge to mark end Lat/Lon and Plot. Determine average position, speed of drift, direction of same.
