Flow Mow Electronic Cruise Report
Flow Mow - CTD Program Overview
The Flow Mow cruise proved to be a successful demonstration of how an autonomous vehicle
could gather information about the sea while at the same time traditional instruments
were in the water. Such an observational opportunity is not recommened with a remotely operated
vehicle (ROV) because of the danger of entangling the ROV tether.
Below are links to the objectives of the Flow Mow CTD program,
a tour of the instruments and deployment methods we used, and
some preliminary perspectives on the 40 stations we completed.
