Oceanography 549--Communicating
Ocean Science--Spring Quarter 1996
Some HTML Editors
There are several good editors specifically designed for programming in
HTML. Some of these include:
- Windows-Based
- Hot Dog Professional. My own choice (RMcD)
- HTMLedPro. I've used an earlier version, but it was too slow for my
tastes, but like much software has probably improved with age.
- InContext Spider. I've never used,
but have read alot of nice things about.
- FrontPage. With its
origin as a high-end
product developed by Vermeer Technologies, Vermeer was acquired by Microsoft
early in 1996. FrontPage is now a Microsoft product, available as a
free beta test, and ultimately as a $149 product (requires Windows 95 or
Windows NT)
